This clock really makes a statement. It is a circa 1900 French champleve crystal regulator of the best kind. There is a lot of enamel work in a range of vibrant colours making up the champleve on the columns, pendulum, dial surround and dial centre. These colours are just as good today as they were 100+ years ago and this clock will always be a focal point in any room decor. The case has been polished and lacquered so will remain brilliant for many years. A nice feature is the bow front to the clock which gives it pleasing shape, while the curved glass restricts reflection so the clock and dial are easier to view. The eight day movement has been fully overhauled by us including new mainsprings and strikes the hours and the half on a gong. Pretty dial and hands. The clock is 27cm high by 18cm wide so a good size for a mantel. Comes with instructions and correct winding key.
