This is a lovely Sessions mantel clock made about 1908. The model is the “Rankin” and this one is in particularly fine restored condition. We have polished the case, repainted the ornaments the correct colour and generally ensured that the clock looks near new again. The green marbling is very attractive and in fine undamaged condition and the gold engraving is sharp and clear. The case is 40cm long, 28cm high and is 18cm deep, a good size for a mantel. The movement has been fully overhauled and rebushed, including new mainsprings so it will last many years. I have lost count of how many Sessions clocks we have restored over thirty years but the Rankin is one model which has always been a favourite. Lovely style, nice colour and good proportions along with a quality movement make this a great clock. Comes with setup instructions and the correct double ended key.
