SOLD This is a very classy and well made French crystal regulator from about 1900. It is in a polished and lacquered brass case with ornate columns, a detailed floral design band top and bottom and with bevelled glass panels all round. It’s a pleasing clock to look at, well proportioned and solidly made. The clock stands 35cm high by 23cm wide.

The enamel dial is 10cm across, is in perfect condition and features a visible escapement so you can see the clock working. The pallet arms and escape wheel cock are of an attractive, ornate design, unlike most of these clocks where these features are usually very plain.. The clock movement is of eight day duration, striking the hours and the halves on a gong. It has been fully overhauled including new mainsprings and works perfectly. Key and instructions included.
